Year End Review & 2024 Look Ahead!

It was another impactful year at the Sudbury Foundation. In addition to our work supporting the community, we also worked on a number of other projects.

This past year, we granted $1.78 million in grants and scholarships. Grants were made to organizations providing hunger relief, addressing racial equity, increasing capacity, improving youth emotional well-being, supporting small farms and local food systems, and enhancing the local community.

Another exciting accomplishment is creating a brand new website! The new website is more easily navigable and provides detailed information about our work.

This summer, we welcomed a new member of staff by hiring Jean Nam as our new Administrative Assistant. Jean is a Sudbury resident, Trustee of the Goodnow Library, board member of SERF, and an experienced town committee volunteer. Out of the office, you'll find her with her husband cheering on their boys on the soccer field and in the hockey arena. She brings a unique blend of dedication and community spirit to our foundation.

In 2024, we will be continuing all of our current grant programs and will once again be hosting the Sudbury Doing Good Nonprofit Fair.

I would like to take a moment and thank you for your support and partnership over the past year and I look forward to working with you next year.

Sincerely,
Sonia Shah
Executive Director
