Sudbury Foundation Awards Emergency Hunger Relief Grants

As you may be aware, an urgent need for hunger relief has arisen due to the SNAP funding cut brought on by the federal government shutdown. Food pantries, social service agencies and foundations are working together to strategize about how to meet the increase in need.

Given the immediate need, the trustees of the Sudbury Foundation have approved $155,000 in emergency funding to be distributed immediately to 17 local hunger relief organizations.

You can find more information about the grants here and you can access the press release here.
