  In support of Sudbury Day, a community-building festival that celebrates diversity.

  To encourage residents to support their neighbors through continued funding of the Senior Volunteer Coordinator position at the Fairbank Senior Center.

Organizational Capacity and Effectiveness Grants
 Longfellow's Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA $60,000
  A two-year grant to enable this historic Inn to develop a master plan for its 125-acre campus.
   
 Town of Sudbury/Fire Department, Sudbury, MA $3,493
  To purchase an ice rescue sled and provide user training to enhance the Fire Department’s ability to respond to winter emergencies.
 
 Town of Sudbury, Sudbury, MA $4,500
  In support of a specialized leadership training program for the Town’s senior managers.
   
Youth Development and Opportunity Grants 
 Sudbury Cooperative Preschool, Sudbury, MA $5,000
  For playground renovations at this local pre-school.
   
Preservation of Community Character and Assets Grants 
 Town of Sudbury/Goodnow Library, Sudbury, MA $20,000
  To extend the Sudbury Archives index and database of documents related to the Town’s history from 1850 to 1900.

  For 2005 and 2006 membership in this association, which supports and advances effective philanthropy in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

  In support of the practice and expansion of effective philanthropic giving.
   
 Grantmakers for Effective Organizations, Washington, DC $1,000
  To promote learning and encourage dialogue among funders committed to building strong and effective nonprofit organizations.
   
 Friends of Sudbury Park and Recreation, Sudbury, MA $5,000
  To replace the Atkinson Pool’s outdated scoreboard.
 
Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, Sudbury, MA $2,500
  To help defray the cost of building the high school’s archives.
