To redesign, print and mail additional support materials as part of an expanded outreach effort in conjunction with the agency’s 25th anniversary.

Boys and Girls Clubs of MetroWest, Marlboro, MA $15,000

In support of technology expenses associated with the expansion and relocation of the Framingham clubhouse to Pearl Street in Framingham.

Community Youth Alliance/Alliance for Teen Safety, Inc., Concord, MA $13,500

For the creation of a web site and new support materials as part of a larger development effort for this agency promoting and providing positive experiences for youth.

Domestic Violence Services of Central Middlesex, Inc., Concord, MA $10,000

To help fund the creation of a computerized resource directory database used by the agency’s volunteers to match victims of domestic violence with appropriate services and information.

Framingham Historical Society & Museum, Framingham, MA $15,000

In support of a development project designed to increase membership and member support for this 100+ year-old organization.

Framingham Public Library /Newcomers & Neighbors Center, Framingham, MA $8,000

To help this new Framingham information and referral center establish a website and host a Speakers Series.

Friends of the Performing Arts in Concord, Concord, MA $2,000

For capital improvements to re-upholster the musicians’ chairs at this performing arts facility.

Friends for Tomorrow, Lincoln, MA $6,000

To fund a series of capital expenses at this agency which provides therapeutic horsebacking riding services.

In support of a Civic Engagement Forum to encourage Metrowest leaders and Leadership Academy Alumni to become more civically involved and, at the same time, increase visibility and support for Leadership Metrowest.

To update 30 curriculum kits available for use by early childhood educators in Concord and surrounding towns.

Danforth Museum of Art, Framingham, MA $12,500

To help pilot a teen docent training program to give local teens a chance to learn more about art, the inner workings of a museum and a possible career in art.

Jewish Family Service of Metrowest, Framingham, MA $30,000

Over two years, to support an after-school program focused on strengthening the science and math skills of fifth grade girls at Framingham’s Woodrow Wilson Elementary School.

Metro Southwest Regional Employment Board, Inc., Framingham, MA $10,000

In support of a life-skills, career development and job readiness summer training program for vulnerable high school students in Framingham and Marlboro using video production as a teaching and promotion tool.

Crossroads Community Foundation, Natick, MA / fiscal agent $30,000

Over two years, for Framingham High School’s Resiliency for Life program, which provides intensive academic and social support to at-risk youth.

Samaritans, Inc., Boston, MA $10,000

To support youth programming in Metrowest by this suicide prevention agency.
